Coming in June
News of up-comingness on The Wild Edge.
Hello all
How is it already June? Time is doing its tricks again.
I do love this time of year for its long days, bloom and all that promise. I am looking forward to sharing lots on the Wild Edge this month, and thought it timely to send a message with dates and opportunities to read/ gather/ create.
Writing and Reflections for the month of June… I’ve more Press Pauses in development, there will be Summer Solstice reflections and a guidebook, and I’ll be taking you behind the scenes into elements of my creative practice. I have one of the most beautiful poems I’ve ever read to share with you. I’ll also be telling you about a very special series of gatherings I’ve been hosting in my home over the last few months and how they have been flooding my life with love and wonder. There is much to share!
A few dates for your diary
For all paid members: A poetry salon (Sunday 14th), and three creative co-working sessions (8th, 15th, 22nd).
And for Gold Members: All the above, plus our Summer Solstice Seasonal Salon on June 21st. (Gold members- I will share a booking link shortly). Tickets also available for purchase here.
On my reading list this month…
I’ve just started reading ‘Land’ by Maggie O’Farrell. I got a sneaky advance copy yesterday, and stayed up date reading, reading, devouring. It’s SO good.
Terry Tempest Williams is one of my favourites, and I have been savouring, ‘The Glorians’. I am reading an essay or two a day.
‘Said the Dead’, by the impeccable Doireann Ní Ghriofa is next up…
And outside of Wild Edge offerings…
If you happen to be in Co. Tipperary on June 20th, I am hosting a live Summer Solstice Salon in the grounds of old castle.. I am so excited. Tickets here.
More In-Person Gatherings.
Also to say, watch this space! I have been listening, researching and venue hunting, and very soon will be announcing some live events and retreats over the coming year in beautiful West Cork. Very very excited…
